official web site. We are in the process of scheduling our 2nd annual I Love Katy Festival for 2008. The purpose of this festival is to celebrate our mutual love for Katy, Texas and its people. Our community is continually growing and we have many new families moving into the area every week. It's time to take a moment and celebrate our city and the people who live in it. Katy truly is a great place to live. As a result, we are holding what has been named the I Love Katy Festival (Dates and ticket prices TBD soon.) We are currently putting together a great show to celebrate. Everything from carnival style games for the kids, moon walks, food venders, music and entertainment. Wow what a great time we had at our first annual “I Love Katy Festival”! If you didn’t have a chance to make it you missed all the fun. It was a great day filled with fun for the whole family. The entertainment was sensational and the main show featured great performances. David Garibaldi stunned the audience as he painted 3 painting over the course of the evening. The night ended with the giving away of all 3 paintings. The 3 paintings included, Elvis Presley, Clint Black and Bono from U2 which was donated to the Katy art reach (see photo).
